Registration Overview

Register here for HMCE 2026!

Step 1: Register Your School & Faculty

Faculty must fill out the electronic registration form available here. This form will ask for the faculty advisors contact information and school information, including the number of students they plan on bringing and how many students are applying for financial aid

Step 2: Submit Necessary Fees

Immediately after submitting the registration form, information regarding payment will be available and should be paid as soon as possible. HMCE offers 3 options for payment including 1) HMCE Payment Portal, 2) Wise Wire Transfer, and 3) Mailing a check. More information can be found in the Registration Guide or Registration 101 document. To learn more about our financial aid program please click here.

Step 3: Role Requests

Upon receiving your school’s fees, we will issue an electronic committee request form where faculty members may submit the rankings for each delegate’s top four committee preferences. All committee roles will be assigned on a first-come, first-serves basis. No more than a few delegates from each school will be placed in the same committee. Effort will be made to assign committees according to delegate preferences, but delegates may receive committees they did not prefer depending on space.

Step 4: Book Hotel Accomodations

Immediately following registration, we recommend beginning to book hotel reservations. You can book your delegations accommodations at the Melia Castilla Hotel using our booking link here with discounted HMCE 2026 rates for our schools. Schools are not required to stay at our hotel, but we recommend staying within close proximity of the venue and ensuring you book early.

Step 5: Submit Agreement Forms

Following registration, we will provide delegates' code of conduct and faculty adviser agreements. All delegates and faculty advisors will be required to submit these forms by January 31st, 2026. If your delegation needs invitation letters for visa purposes to attend HMCE 2026, you will need to fill out our visa letter request form. Please contact the Director of Communications at faculty@hmceurope.org with any questions about this.

Step 6: Complete Pre-Conference Assignments

All delegates will be required to submit a pre-conference assignment. These assignments will ask students to think critically about their assigned briefings and generate a position on each issue raised. These assignments will be due one week before the start of the conference. The exact emails for submission will be made clear in the role assignment email. All delegates will receive feedback on these assignments from a Harvard staffer.

Step 7: Questions about Registration

For any questions related to the registration process or conference overall, please reach out to our Director of Communications, Bannon Price, at faculty@hmceurope.org.
