Hiral Chavre

Hiral is a rising junior at Harvard from Long Island, New York, concentrating on Neuroscience with an English secondary. Hiral is a Senior News Reporter at The Crimson and serves as a Peer Advising Fellow for incoming first-years at Harvard. In her spare time, Hiral loves to read, watch episodes of her comfort sitcom, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and work on anything arts & crafts! Hiral is currently the President of HMC San Francisco 2026, and was formerly on the board of HMC Europe as Director of Operations & Technology in 2025. She is so excited to be back for another amazing year of HMCE!

Jimmy Merino Guerra

Jimmy is a sophomore from Boston, Massachusetts in Lowell House studying Economics and Government. At Harvard, he is involved with the Harvard Institute of Politics Research & Strategy Group, Harvard Data Analytics Group, and tutors high school students. He is involved with HMC Boston as the Co-Director of Mentorship, and previously HMCSF as a Junior Staffer. Outside of Harvard Model Congress, he plays volleyball and goes on runs. Jimmy is looking forward to meeting everyone and facilitating meaningful debate!

Charlotte Caccam

Charlotte Caccam is a junior at Harvard who is concentrating in History & Science with a secondary in Economics, and is also working on a citation in American Sign Language. She is originally from Jacksonville, Florida and loves sunny weather. Outside of HMC, you can find Charlotte swimming, thrifting, or driving with the windows down. This will be her third HMC conference overall, and she is beyond excited to meet all the delegates!

Kaitlyn Choi

Kaitlyn is a sophomore from Long Island, NY studying Social Studies and Statistics. She is a current resident of Dunster House. She is a senior staffer in HMC Europe and also serves as a senior staffer for the Boston conference. Outside of HMC, Kaitlyn is also an oboist in the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra and enjoys taking walks by the Charles or sitting in the Yard with her friends.

Austen Wyche

Austen Wyche is a junior in Winthrop House studying Government and Economics at the college. He is originally from Alabama, but now resides outside of Atlanta, Georgia. On campus, he is involved with Harvard Undergraduates for Bipartisan Solutions, The Harvard Crimson, and Harvard Model Congress. Outside of academics, he enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, travelling, and exploring coffee shops around Cambridge.

Riya Sikand

Riya is a first-year from New Jersey studying Computer Science and Molecular & Cellular Biology with a minor in Government. She is so excited to be a staffer for HMC Europe! Riya led her high school’s Model Congress Club, participating in HMC Boston as a delegate for all four years in high school! This year, Riya was Director of Technology for HMC Boston and Director of Operations and Technology for HMC San Francisco. Outside of HMC, Riya is a part of the Harvard Undergraduate Biotechnology Club, The Crimson Sports Board, Harvard Model UN, the Quantum Computing Association, the Clean Energy Group, and the Women’s Initiative in Leadership. In her free time, Riya enjoys reading, painting, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family (and her dog, Mocha!).

Atticus Lee is a senior studying Government and History at Harvard. He currently serves as President of Harvard Model Congress Boston and previously served as President of Harvard Model Congress Europe! He is so excited to return to HMCE as a staffer and can't wait to meet more of the wonderful delegates. Ask Atticus about his favorite music (Sade, Kendrick Lamar) and favorite TV shows (Arrested Development, The Office)!

Miriam Tsegay

Miriam Tsegay is a first-year living in Pennypacker from Illinois! She is considering a concentration in Government and Economics. She is excited to be a part of HMCE this year for the first time! Beyond HMCE, she is involved in the Institute of Politics and the Harvard Undergraduate Consulting Group. In her free time, Miriam likes to get froyo with her roommates and spend time outside!

Laasya Chiduruppa

Laasya is a rising senior at Harvard and a Dunster House resident from Massachusetts, studying History, Government, and Education. She is the Co-President of Harvard Model Congress, and was formerly on the boards of HMC-Boston, HMC Europe, and HMC-Asia. Aside from HMC-endeavors, Laasya conducts research at HKS and is involved in civil disagreement work on campus. Laasya is also an avid yoga-enthusiast and podcast specialist!

Erta Ismahili

Erta (air-tah) is a first year living in Mower Hall, interested in studying Government, Sociology, and EMR (Ethnicity, Migration, Rights). She is proudly from Revere, MA, just 20 minutes off campus! She recently visited Albania this past summer, her family's home country, and also has family living in Italy. She can speak three languages, English, Albanian, and Spanish, and is interested in learning more. In her free time, she loves to play guitar, take care of her plants, thrift, and crochet! You can talk to her about all things music, international relations, immigration policy, and grassroots advocacy!

Adele Raillot

Adele Raillot is a sophomore at Harvard College from New Jersey studying Biology and Government. In the past, she has staffed HMC Boston and Europe and this will be her second time at HMCE! Currently, she’s on the boards of HMC-Middle East and HMC-Boston. Outside of HMC, she's working in a lab and is involved with the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter and the Foreign Policy Initiative. In her free time, she crochets clothes and loves discovering new music!

Taylor Beljon-Regen

Taylor Beljon-Regen is a first-year in Thayer from Los Angeles, California, planning to study Government with a secondary in either Environmental Science and Public Policy or Jewish Studies. She is passionate about improving civic education as a way to strengthen bipartisanship in times of polarization. Taylor is thrilled to be a junior staffer this year because she believes in the power of civic engagement and is excited to help delegates create lifelong memories. She loves watching movies with her AMC Stubs A-List membership, going to concerts, reading rom-coms, and leading her friends on adventures through the T around Boston.

Jordan Schwartz

Jordan Schwartz is a sophomore at Harvard from Alliance, Ohio, studying government and economics. Beyond HMC, Jordan serves as the chair of the Harvard Public Opinion Project, where he leads the students behind the nation’s largest survey of 18-29-year-olds. His focus is on youth civic and political engagement, having also previously served as Co-Chair of the Harvard Votes Challenge, where he led university-wide projects to get out the vote in 2024. Outside of youth civic engagement work, Jordan is an avid reader, runner, and hiker.

Sahil Sood

Sahil Sood is a junior living in Cabot House, studying Molecular Biology and Applied Mathematics. He grew up in Suwanee, Georgia, where he developed a deep interest in how STEM not only drives discovery but also shapes the policies that govern our world. He’s especially passionate about the intersection of science and public decision-making, and he hopes to pursue work that bridges those fields. Beyond academics, he is a strong believer in the power of education to transform lives and communities. He’s excited to bring that perspective and energy to Harvard Model Congress Europe!

Ryan Jung

Ryan Jung is a senior at Harvard studying Social Studies, Philosophy, and Education. This is his third time staffing HMCE, and his tenth HMC conference overall. Outside of class, you can find him teaching civics and philosophy to kids, researching political theory and higher education reform, and powerlifting.

Ian Chen

Ian is a sophomore in Kirkland House, concentrating in Social Studies. He is originally from Los Angeles, California. Ian is passionate about political storytelling, civic education, and collective organizing. Outside of HMCE, he teaches civics, edits for the Review of Philosophy, and continues his love for acting. In Europe this year, he's excited for the debate, the people, and (of course) the food. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, dreaming up adventures with friends, and cheering on the LA Dodgers.

Cameron Reckard

Cameron is a rising junior in Quincy House concentrating in Statistics with a secondary in Economics. This is Cameron's second year staffing HMCE, and he is so excited to make this year's conference a success! Cameron serves on the board of HMC Boston and HMC San Francisco. Originally from Wyoming, Cameron is also a tour guide at Harvard, and he loves sitting down and playing board games with friends. When not working on homework, you’ll find him planning his next trip or catching up on his favorite shows.

Fifi Teklemedhin

Fikir (Fifi) Teklemedhin is a rising senior at Harvard College studying Computer Science and Sociology. This summer, she is conducting research with Fellows at the Forefront under Professor Jason Beckfield to understand how indigenous communities adopt clean energy solutions. Her interests lie in equity, computational social science, and education. On campus, Fifi is involved with Tech for Social Good, the Undergraduate Foreign Policy Initiative, and the Open Data Project. She enjoys reading, hiking, and exploring new restaurants in her free time.

Ava Silva

Ava is a junior living in Pforzheimer House and is originally from the small town San Augustine, Texas. She is pursuing a joint degree in Linguistics and Anthropology. She is also involved in HMC Middle East and HMC Boston, and this will be her 7th conference overall and first HMC Europe. Apart from HMC, you’ll find Ava enjoying a glass of tea, taking a walk around Cambridge, or hanging out with friends. She is very excited to work with everyone!

Fabio Fabbiani

Fabio Fabbiani is a first-year in Mower studying Economics and Government. He is especially interested in the intersection of business and public policy and how it shapes growth in emerging economies. Fabio has been involved in promoting education for years, leading national business conferences, mentoring younger students through simulation debates, and running his civic education platform, Purple Political Talk. He is thrilled to join the HMCE team and looks forward to helping delegates grow as speakers and leaders. In his free time, Fabio enjoys spending time with friends and learning how to DJ.

Nathan Tesler

Nathan is a junior from Hingham, Massachusetts, a seaside town just south of Boston. He is a member of the Class of 2027 at Harvard, studying Applied Math and Government. Outside of HMC, he is a member of the Institute of Politics, DJs for the radio, and plays a lot of jazz. During his free time, he enjoys biking, jamming with his band, and playing Mario Kart with his roommates.

Annika Krovi

Annika Krovi is a sophomore at Harvard College studying Social Studies and Global Health & Health Policy. Her work and research interests fall at the intersection of law, public health, and government. Krovi has years of political organizing experience and served as the youngest member of the Democratic National Committee. On campus, she competes on Harvard Mock Trial, chairs the Conferences Committee at the Institute of Politics, and enjoys reading and running!

Jahir is a rising Junior in Quincy House studying government with a secondary in economics. He is a proud Massachusetts resident who enjoys bike riding through nature. Jahir is an aspiring poet and avid tennis player. You’ll always find him blasting R&B and Rap music like Drake and Jcole. On campus Jahir is part of numerous organizations like Intercollegiate Model United Nations, International Relations Council, and the board of Citizenship Tutoring at the Institute of Politics. Jahir has previously participated in HMC and is now Faculty Liaison Harvard Model Congress Middle East. He is passionate about political reform and civil rights activism.

Yasmeen Galal

Yasmeen Galal is a rising sophomore from Prospect, Connecticut studying Applied Math and Computer Science. On campus, Yasmeen is Director of Technology for the Harvard Computer Society and an analyst for the Harvard Undergraduate Consulting Group. She also serves as a teaching fellow in the Harvard Computer Science Department. Outside of classes and extracurriculars, Yasmeen enjoys playing tennis, getting a sweet treat, or going on any sidequest!

Lara Rahman

Lara Rahman is a sophomore residing in Currier House studying Government on the pre-medical track. She is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. She is serving as the Faculty Liaison for the 2026 HMC Boston conference and is a senior staffer for HMC Asia. Outside of HMC, she is involved with research at Massachusetts General Hospital and writes for the Harvard Undergraduate Research Journal.

Soyo Tanida

Soyo Tanida is a freshman at Holworthy Hall. Born and raised in Japan, she has lived in Iowa for two years and New York for two years. She plans to concentrate in Government, Sociology, or Social Sciences, with strong interest in immigration and human rights. Learning language is also her passion, as she aims for both Mandarin and French language citations. Outside of classes, she plays the flute in an orchestra and marching band, plays tennis, and enjoys handcrafting stuffed animals. She loves croissants, and back in Japan, she worked part time at a local French bakery.

Jack Kelly

Jack is a senior at Harvard originally from Harrison, New York, but he currently lives in the best house on campus, Pfoho! He is a double concentrator in applied math and government and is interested in using the tools of math, statistics, and computer science to solve important economic and social problems. He served as the Co-President of HMC Boston 2025 and is looking forward to returning to HMC Europe 2026 as a senior staffer. He was a model congress delegate for all four years of high school, so he is excited to be helping out with the conferences he once attended! Outside of HMC, he is an amateur marathon runner, an avid music listener, and a podcast connoisseur.

Seyi Amosun

Seyi Amosun is a freshman in Canaday, originally from Nashville, Tennessee. She plans on studying Economics and Sociology, with plans to study law in the future. She’s passionate about civic education and constitutional law. Outside of Harvard Model Congress, you’ll find Seyi playing the cello, grabbing an iced coffee, listening to Lorde, and spending time with friends outdoors. She can’t wait for conference, and is excited to meet all the delegates in Madrid!

Talia Vaught

Talia is a senior at Harvard studying environmental engineering. She grew up in Bluffton, SC but now lives in Pforzheimer House and absolutely loves Boston. When she is not doing HMC, you can find her playing tennis, grabbing coffee, or traveling somewhere new. She is also involved in solar geoengineering research and is currently writing her thesis on the dynamics of aerosol particles in the stratosphere. This will be her third and final HMCE conference, and she can't wait to see you there!

Yehia Said

Yehia Said is a freshman in Mower studying Government and Psychology with a secondary in Educational Studies. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Yehia is beyond excited for HMC Europe this year, especially getting to know his amazing delegates. Yehia is passionate about equity in history education, race relations, and human rights law, particularly the efficacy of the International Criminal Court. Outside of class, you can find him drinking boba or matcha (not performatively), trying to compose a fugue, or listening to Sabrina Carpenter.

Hillary is a sophomore at Harvard studying History and Economics. She is so excited to be chairing at HMCE for the first time after chairing three times across Boston and Asia conferences and attending five conferences as a delegate! When she's not reading in Widener library, Hillary loves dancing, getting ice cream with friends, and showing everyone pictures of her adorable dog.

Morgan Johnson

Morgan Johnson is a first-year living in Canaday studying Government and Medieval Studies, originally from Oklahoma. In high school, Morgan worked at several civic education organizations, such as Boys State, Boys Nation, and Boy Scouts of America, and is excited to continue educating students about government at HMC! Outside of class and HMC, Morgan manages finances for the Harvard Political Review, teaches civics at local middle schools, and loves reading, watching NBA basketball, and backpacking.

Coby Hayes

Coby is a sophomore at Harvard and a Lowell House resident from Marion, Arkansas, double concentrating in Government and Psychology. He is a senior staffer for HMC Europe 2026 and staffed HMC Boston as well. Aside from HMC, Coby is the Inclusion Officer for the Harvard Undergraduate Association, Programming Chair for the Black Students’ Association, is an Analyst for Consulting for Business and the Environment (CBE), and teaches CIVICS to local elementary schoolers. He is so excited to be staffing Europe for the first time this conference!

Selim Fourati

Selim is a sophomore at the college studying Social Studies & Psychology. He was born and raised in Tunis, Tunisia and now resides in Quincy House (best house!!) HMCE will be Selim's fifth HMC conference and he is really excited to meet all his delegates! When he's not doing school work locked-in at Peet's Coffee, you can find Selim walking along the Charles river, either talking with friends or reading a good book

Morgan Byers

Morgan Byers is a third-year student at Harvard College studying Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology and Government. She is originally from Athens, Georgia, but she now spends her time at Harvard serving as the Vice President of HMC Boston, a researcher at Boston Children's Hospital, and an EMT with CrimsonEMS. In her spare time, she loves to go on walks, spend time with friends around campus, and play New York Times Games (YAY Connections!). This will be her tenth HMC Conference (and third HMCE!), and she is thrilled to meet you all!

Uy Pham

Uy Pham is a first-year in Thayer from Orange County, California, currently planning to study government and/or philosophy. He’s looking forward to HMC Europe, as he has served as both a delegate and chair for similar conferences in high school. His favorite part of these conferences is the opportunity for delegates to not only build civic engagement but also immerse themselves in civic discourse and multilateral, dynamic conversations about the issues our global communities face. In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching soccer, napping, and being Winnie the Pooh’s biggest fan. He looks forward to meeting everyone at this year’s conference and hearing the nuanced perspectives they share!

Juliet Bu

Juliet Bu is a junior at Harvard originally from New Jersey studying Government & Economics. She is a senior staffer for HMC Europe and the Director of Special Programs for HMC Boston. This will be her first HMCE and fourth HMC conference overall. Outside of HMC, at Harvard Juliet is also involved in HUCBE, an environmental consulting group, and writes for The Harvard Crimson's Arts section. In her free time, Juliet can be found watching movies, running by the Charles River, or playing New York Times games.

Fhasal Alam

Fhasal Alam is a junior at Harvard College studying Chemistry and Government. Fhasal is passionate about medicine, youth empowerment, and immigrant healthcare reform. On campus, he is a part of the Bengali Association of Students at Harvard College (BASHA), the Phillips Brooks House Association (PBHA), and the Institute of Politics (IOP) Policy Program. In the summer of 2025, he worked on a CAR-T cell research project to engineer oncology therapeutics. For fun, he likes to go for runs around Cambridge and Boston, dance to Bollywood songs, and devour all-you-can-eat sushi. Fhasal is excited to meet you all at HMC Europe 2026!

Andrew Zonneveld

Andrew is a senior at Harvard College concentrating in Government with a secondary in Education Studies, living in Leverett House. Andrew is a military dependent from Jacksonville, North Carolina, and has been involved with HMC since his first year on campus. He is currently serving his second term on the HMC Boston Board and is a former member of the HMC Europe Board. When he’s not working on HMC, you can find Andrew teaching swim lessons or reading a good book.

Leo Petropoulos

Leo Petropoulos is a first-year in Hollis planning on studying Integrative Biology and Economics on the Pre-Med Track. He’s fascinated by Pediatric Endocrinology and the relationship of hormones to our economic habits. He is from Cary, a small suburb of Chicago, IL, and after years of competing on speech team, serving in youth mentorship, and engaging in several other ventures, he’s excited to bring his background to the table to support delegates' growth in confidence and valuable life skills! In his free time, you can catch him playing chess, studying (chatting) in Cabot, or enjoying his very unique playlists on Spotify.
