About Madrid and our Venue

Madrid, Spain, located in the heart of European politics, will serve as the host city for the Harvard Model Congress Europe 2026. Renowned for its rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant political scene, Madrid offers an ideal blend of artistic charm and opportunity for civic engagement. The city's attractions include the Royal Palace, Prado Museum, and Reina Sofía Museum. Participants will have the opportunity to explore these historical treasures and immerse themselves in the local cuisine, art galleries, and cultural performances, providing an enriching experience beyond the conference.

Madrid is home to Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, an international travel center with many affordable flight options available in March. The Hotel Meliá Castilla has hosted many HMCE conferences in the past, and it offers an incredible experience for conference attendees. The conference will take place within the hotel’s countless luxurious meeting rooms. If the hotel pricing or program does not match your delegation’s needs, please use the registration guide to find alternative accommodation.
